Not as hard as I thought

TSE e-book

So this just happened. I formatted The Spanish Exile‘s e-book myself and uploaded it on Amazon tonight. It will be available for pre-order in three days, and will be delivered on 03.01.17. Whee!

About the e-book formatting. I was going to hire someone, but since I needed to put a file in for the pre-order, I thought I’d at least give it a shot. By no means was it a cakewalk, but it was a lot easier this time, thanks to Scrivener and Internet how-to articles. I love being able to get it done as soon as possible, change the file anytime I want, experiment with the design, and save money. It took some trial and error, but it worked! This is feeling more and more real by the day.

E-book, check. Paperback, check. I will secure a venue for my 02.28 launch party (hopefully the library). My amazing cover artist Mikey Brooks is making bookmarks. There’s more to do, but that is good for now.

Meanwhile, it is probably the busiest I have been in City Council. Between legislative meetings at the Capitol, getting a historic preservation commission off the ground, and sitting in on interviews for a new police chief, February will be a super-busy month.

Somewhere in between, I will be finishing Book Two, The Last Princess.

I am also connecting with some potential ghostwriting clients.

It is crazy busy, but I love it. I feel blessed by a Heavenly Father who gives me opportunities to learn, grow, and serve.
